A hands-on 3 hour workshop designed to help you learn your camera and get off of Auto. 1st hour and a half is lecture. Then an hour of instructional shooting outdoors. The last half hour is dedicated to work-flow and basic editing. :: Prerequisite: Beginning Photo Class :: Wednesday: May 12th 2pm - 5pm :: Walnut Creek Library :: Required Reading: Brian Peterson's Understanding Exposure. (Only the chapters on Shutterspeed, Aperture, and ISO)

If you have a laptop, feel free to bring it, but it's not required. I will be editing and you'll be able to follow along and take notes.

You MUST take the Beginning Photo Class BEFORE you sign up for this workshop. I cover a lot of key factors in the first class and we won't have time in the workshop to catch anyone up to speed. :: If you are unable to take the beginning class first, PLEASE contact Jennifer to make other arrangements.
The Fine Print: * I understand that this is a non-refundable class and if I am not able to attend, and cannot find a replacement, I must notify Jennifer as soon as possible for a credit to her next class. I understand this is a basic photography workshop and I am not a professional photographer nor am I taking this class to become a professional photographer.
